This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Have a great hiking adventure along the Deep Creek Trail, and a scenic lake like Mirror Lake is a glorious spot       to stop by. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a pretty lake called Strawberry Lake near West Lake, and Kokanee Campground is a great campground nearby. West Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; January is when you get the most rain here while July is commonly the driest month. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. While                  you're here at West Lake you can take a hike along the Bobs Flat Trail. Take a hike on the Red Mountain Trail, and West Lake is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, College Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby. Summer at West Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at West Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
