If you came to camp McMurray Campground is a brilliant spot to do that, and Fordyce Creek is a splendid whitewater spot close by. This place, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things. There's so much to do here at Weaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Weaver lake Campground is a perfect spot for that, and Weaver Dam is an exciting thing to check       out. This lake is so wonderful. The Canyon Creek Trail is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Weaver Lake, and Weaver Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit. Any time is a glorious time at Weaver Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you need a place to stay Chalet View Lodge is a great choice. If you get bored of Weaver Lake, you could also explore nearby McMurray Lake, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Crooked                  Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Soda Springs while you're here, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - North Fork. Toms Creek is a stream that you may bump into during your stay, and you'll possibly meet some people from Truckee-Grass Valley here. This place rules, just look at all the fun things to do near Weaver Lake. The top of Pinoli Peak is easily seen from Weaver Lake, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Bowman Mountain Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Deer Creek Inn, and charming scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Royal Gorge. High temperatures at Weaver Lake all through the summer months are in the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Weaver Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Weaver Lake is close to the national average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.
