Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Waterdog Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Waterdog Lake sink into the 20's. Waterdog Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise.       Not far from Waterdog Lake, you'll stumble on Lower Russian Lake which is a beautiful lake, and there's perfect hiking along the Tanners Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Russian Peak can be made out from Waterdog Lake, and perfect hiking is available along the Deacon Lee Trail.
