Water Dog Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Camping at Water Dog Lakes is great fun, Happy Camp Campground is a great local campground. You completely should love Water Dog Lakes. You'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Blacks Lake near Water Dog Lakes, and at Water       Dog Lakes you can make out North Trinity Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Shivshaneen Co is a great campground here, and it's a great idea to have a look at Crogan Creek. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges. Hiking along the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail is nice fun, and there are plenty of folks from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna here. For the period of the summertime at Water Dog Lakes highs are usually in                  the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Water Dog Lakes dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
