high temperatures mostly reach the 60's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Water Dog Lake dipping down into the 40's through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Water Dog Lake is splendid fun, Trailer Rancho is a splendid local campground. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Pescadero Creek; there are plenty of people from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont
here. At Water Dog Lake you don’t see much precipitation; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July.
