High temperatures at Warren Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Warren Lake during the wintertime frequently plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Basin Peak is easy to spot from Warren Lake, and if you came to camp Van Norden Campground       is a good location to do that. Warren Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Independence Lake Campground is a great local campground, and a glorious spot for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - South Fork. Warren Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Warren Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And that's                  not all there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A glorious nearby hotel is The Inn At Truckee, and Fordyce Creek is a fine whitewater spot nearby. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Do set aside some time for Round Valley if you're here at Warren Lake, and the Warren Lake Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Warren Lake you can play some golf at Tahoe Donner Golf Course; nearby you discover the Mount Lola Trail which is a great hiking trail. If you get bored of Warren Lake, you could also check out nearby Devils Oven Lake; skiing at Donner Ski Ranch is one of those things you just have to do. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Warren Lake. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Boreal. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca is a wonderful choice, and Coon Canyon is a great site to visit. So much fun stuff near Warren Lake, just tremendous.
