A fine place right next door to Warren Lake is Coon Canyon; camping is available at Van Norden Campground. Looking for something in the vicinity of Warren Lake? Paradise Lake is nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Independence Lake Campground is a brilliant location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Tahoe Donner Golf Course is a great way to kill       some time; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - South Fork. After a long day outdoors The Inn at Truckee is a good place to spend a night or two; the skiing at Boreal is wonderful. All through the months of summer at Warren Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Warren                  Lake fall into the 20's. That right there is heaps of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. You could also check out Devils Oven Lake if you're here at Warren Lake; it's close by, and everybody close by loves skiing at Donner Ski Ranch. Much rainfall falls at Warren Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that rains the most while July is commonly the driest month. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
