The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Frontier Motel, and from Wallace Lake you acquire a great view of Mount Barnard. Near Wallace Lake you come across Sheep Pass which is a wonderful location to take a look at, and if you get bored of Wallace Lake you could also take a look at close by Wales Lake. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Kern River; if you need a place to stay

| | Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a magnificent choice. At Wallace Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Wallace Lake. This place, the Southern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors cool stuff. the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 is a wonderful hiking trail near Wallace Lake, and the nice people of Bishop like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
There is a perfect hiking trail near Wallace Lake called the Sawtooth Pass Trail. Yeah, come here to Wallace Lake for a magnificent time. If you came for an overnight stay Independence Creek Campground is a great site to camp; if
the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Mount Whitney Trail. It is very dried out here at Wallace Lake ordinarily; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
