High temperatures at Walker Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 60's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 40's for Walker Lake. So many fun things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too great to be true. Walker Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Rule RV Park       is a glorious local campground, and Baechtel Creek Inn and Spa is a pleasant place to get some rest. Walker Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; through January this area sees the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Walker Lake you'll meet some people from Ukiah for sure; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Mud Lake.                  But wait, there's more to do close to Walker Lake. There are some fine whitewater spots on Outlet Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Tomki Creek.
