    What a nice lake Virginia Lake is. Good hiking is available along the Red Mountain Trail, and why not take a little trip to Ruby Creek since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dinkey Creek is a fine whitewater spot close to Virginia Lake; why not camp at Upper Dinkey Creek Campground since you're here at Virginia Lake. At Virginia Lake you can catch a glimpse of Bear Mountain, and the Bobs Flat Trail offers hiking at its best.
This lake is so wonderful. Summer
 
   at Virginia Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Virginia Lake descend into the 20's. All year is a pleasant time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Sierra Summit; Bear Meadow is a wonderful place to check out.

               to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Rainbow Lake close to Virginia Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Snowcreek Resort. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Virginia Lake has it all. Giagantea Campground is a perfect local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Virginia Lake; Deep Creek Trail is a wonderful local trail. Virginia Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
An average amount of precipitation falls at Virginia Lake; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is July.
