     Snowcreek Resort is a splendid site to get some rest, and paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork is so much fun. Just can't get enough of Vermilion Lake. The Red Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Mono Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not camp at Vermilion Campground since you're here at Vermilion Lake.
Around Vermilion Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; all through January this area sees the most rain; the driest
 
   month is June. Summertime highs at Vermilion Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Vermilion Lake tend to be in the 20's. This location, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. If you're here at Vermilion Lake, you could have a look at North Fork Mono Creek, and there are other

Devils Postpile National Monument is a very fine place to explore near Vermilion Lake, and camping is available at Upper Vermillion Campground.
But wait, there's more to do close to Vermilion Lake. Vermilion Cliffs is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Vermilion Lake, and lakes are such serene spots, why not check out Arrowhead Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Very scenic scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Sierra Summit, and splendid hiking is available along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
