    What a nice lake Van Norman Bypass Reservoir is. Yeah, come here to Van Norman Bypass Reservoir for a great time. You'll discover a charming lake called Lower Van Norman Lake near Van Norman Bypass Reservoir, and Knollwood Country Club is a good golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Yerba Buena Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Van Norman Bypass Reservoir is located in the San Gabriel Mountains.
 
   This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Van Norman Bypass Reservoir is Birmingham Trailer Village, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Sylmar is a tremendous choice. You completely have to love the San Gabriel Mountains. Hiking along the Oak Spring Trail is perfect fun, and do go to Upper Van Norman Lake, it's a scenic lake. Summer at Van Norman Bypass Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools  
               down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows all through the winter for Van Norman Bypass Reservoir tend to be in the 30's.
These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the San Gabriel Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Country Side Inn Sylmar, and Lower Retention Basin is a charming site any time of year. The slopes of Mt Waterman are so inviting nobody can resist; Bee Canyon is unquestionably a great place to visit. Camping at Los Angeles San Fernando Valley is always a perfect experience, and Van Norman Bypass Reservoir is right by the Dagger Flat Trail.
At Van Norman Bypass Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July.

Hi, please take a look at the attached photo.  I took it today in La Jolla Canyon, at the water fall (dry now).  Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support.  It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above.  Someone should take a closer look at that rock.  In heavy rain it could come down.  It looks unstable....
