You completely have to love the San Gabriel Mountains. Hiking along the Oak Spring Trail is perfect fun, and do go to Upper Van Norman Lake, it's a scenic lake. Summer at Van Norman Bypass Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools | |

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
