Not much rain falls here at Valley View Reservoir; January is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. A       perfect place to camp here at Valley View Reservoir is Loomis/E.I-80 KOA, and do visit Clover Valley Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. A wonderful lake like Caperton Reservoir in the neighborhood of Valley View Reservoir is a magnificent place to take a look at, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn Rocklin/Sacramento is a delightful choice. Valley View Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Far West Lake is a great local campground, and you can run the rapids of Yuba River.
