    What a nice lake Vail Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid vista of delightful Black Hills is available from Vail Lake. Vail Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Hiking along the Magee Trail is tremendous fun; Rincon Mesa Campground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Butterfield Valley is a brilliant location to explore, and a fine nearby hotel is South Coast Winery Resort And Spa.
Vail Lake is regularly a reasonably
 
   waterless spot; all through February this area sees the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Kolb Creek is a charming stream that is worth taking a look at; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Gomez Trail. Dripping Springs is a gorgeous location to go to while you're at Vail Lake, and you can stay the night at Ormsby Campground.
After a long day outdoors Pechanga Resort & Casino is a tremendous place to spend a
 
               night or two, and going for a hike along the Mission Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Santa Margarita River; the landscape is dominated by the Black Hills. High temperatures at Vail Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Vail Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.
