If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Upper Sunset Lake. The high level of rain makes Upper Sunset Lake a rather wet place; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Burnside Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Tahoe Seasons Resort (Vri) is a good spot to spend a night or two. That right there is a load of enjoyable things

| | already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Upper Sunset Lake is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Upper Sunset Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lower Blue Lake Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Charity Valley Trail. There's so much to do here at Upper Sunset Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hermit Valley Campground is a brilliant | |

spot for that. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Man, is there lots of fun things to do in the vicinity of Upper Sunset Lake. Everybody loves Indian Valley, and paddling on Carson River - East Fork is so
much fun.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. What would winter be without some skiing at Bear Valley, and Summit Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Jeff Davis Creek from Upper Sunset Lake is simple, and you're probably into lakes, Hellhole Lake is one of those close by. For the duration of the summertime months at Upper Sunset Lake highs
are regularly in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Upper Sunset Lake.
You'll meet a lot of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here. A great
close by hotel is Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley, and the slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting noone can resist.
