Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. If you came for an overnight stay Birmingham Trailer Village is a great place to camp; there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Gold Canyon Trail. A day at Palisades Beach in the vicinity of Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir is time well spent, and why not camp at Vicabob Trailer Village while you're here at Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir. | | City Golf Course is always a joy, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not go to Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir. It is very dried up here at Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir typically; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Visiting Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Stone Canyon Reservoir is a pleasant lake nearby. On | |

the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 90's at Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Upper
Stone Canyon Reservoir are in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
