Upper Salmon Lake is a nice lake to visit. Upper Salmon Lake is a good place of typical rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. Places like Lusk Meadows are great to go to; after a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Stay the night at Diablo Campground; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Church Creek.

| | Sierra Nevada. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are some great whitewater spots on Lavezzola Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the Deer Lake Trail.
There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Upper Salmon Lake. Hiking along the Butcher Ranch Trail is delightful fun; if you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - North Fork offers some magnificent whitewater. This lake | |

is so wonderful. Upper Salmon Lake is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15, and everybody close by loves skiing at Royal Gorge. Through the summertime months at Upper Salmon Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. When the
night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Upper Salmon Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything
Upper Salmon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Berger Campground; great water scenery is available at Upper Salmon Lake Dam in the vicinity of Upper Salmon Lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Chalet View Lodge is a delightful location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Deer Lake is close by.
