If you need a place to stay Hummingbird Inn is a tremendous choice, and swing by Howard Creek it's a glorious location to have a look at. That right there is a heap of amusing things already but it goes on, the Sierra Madre has it all. If you're here, you might as well go to Rose Valley, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Rose Lion Trail. Why not       camp at Middle Lion Campground since you're here at Upper Rose Lake; nearby you find the Middle Sespe Trail which is a nice hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Sierra Madre. Upper Rose Lake is mostly a rather arid place; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Casa Ojai; going for a hike on the                  Horn Canyon Trail is always a good adventure. Golf can be played at Clubhouse the at Soule Park Golf Course, and Sespe Creek is a fine whitewater spot close by. A magnificent site to camp here at Upper Rose Lake is Rose Valley Campground, and Rose Valley Falls is a lovely location to check out while you're at Upper Rose Lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Sierra Madre. While you're here at Upper Rose Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura, and you're perhaps keen on lakes, Lower Rose Lake is one of those nearby. Having a nice time at Upper Rose Lake is trouble-free. You get a delightful view of Chief Peak from Upper Rose Lake. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Upper Rose Lake will keep you coming back time and again. All our national parks are brilliant places to take a look at, and Channel Islands National Park is no exception. Lakes are great; Senior Canyon Reservoir is a lake that's near Upper Rose Lake. High temperatures at Upper Rose Lake during the months of summer are in the 90's; the night is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 50's.
