Moose Peak can be made out from Upper Lake, and some close by water includes Raff Creek. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a great time. A tremendous close by hotel is Motel Garberville, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Eel River. There's so much to do here at Upper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fir Cove Campground is a great spot for that, and hiking along the       Ben Duncan Mailbox Trail is nice fun. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Upper Lake. Stay the night at Bailey Canyon Campground, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Eel River - North Fork. The high level of rain makes Upper Lake a relatively wet site; during December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Upper Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. This lake                  is so wonderful. This is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes. Lost Lake is a lake around here, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Ben Arthur Trail. Through the long summer days highs here at Upper Lake get into the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Upper Lake are in the 30's. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back time and again.
