What a nice lake Upper Gaylor Lake is. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Upper Gaylor Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Junction Campground is a brilliant spot for that; the skiing at June Mountain is wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Gaylor Lakes Trail, of course you could also stop at Gardisky Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.

It is very dried up here at Upper Gaylor Lake commonly; January is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month is October. What a site this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a magnificent site to spend a night or two; since you're here, you could stop by Mine Creek.
