Why not take a refreshing hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2, and the skiing at June Mountain is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Yosemite Creek in close proximity to Upper Fletcher Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Ahwahnee. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. A nice spot to visit near Upper Fletcher       Lake is Tuolumne Pass, and Tioga Campground is a delightful local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Upper Fletcher Lake has to offer. The John Muir Trail - section 1 offers hiking at its best, and a lake nearby is Townsley Lake.
