Upper Echo Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Upper Echo Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Near Upper Echo Lake you locate the Hawley Grade Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Cagwin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out close by Aspen Creek while you're here at Upper Echo Lake, and there are delightful spots to discover along the Pacific Crest Trail

High temperatures at Upper Echo Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Echo Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Lakes is a good lake close by. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Upper Echo Lake rules! A day at picturesque Pope Beach in close proximity to Upper Echo Lake is a splendid thing to do, and the nice people of Gardnerville Ranchos
like to hang out nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Kiva Beach while you're here at Upper Echo Lake, and there's whitewater on Silver Creek - South Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake
is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Tahoe Paradise Golf Course not far from Upper Echo Lake. After a long day outdoors Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and here at Upper Echo
Lake you can catch a glimpse of Angora Peak.
That right there is lots of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sierra at Tahoe; there
are some great whitewater spots on American River - South Fork. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. Huckleberry Flat is a stunning place any time of year, and camping at Fortyfive
Mile Campground is always a great experience. Upper Echo Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; July is when it's the driest.
You'll really wish for more hours
in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Kirkwood has great slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike on the General Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure. Indian Rock is a wonderful place to visit while in the area, and if you came to camp Firs Campground is a nice place to do that.
