Go to Upper Blue Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Upper Blue Lake. A delightful lake like Lost Lakes near Upper Blue Lake is a good place to explore. Pine Cone Acre Motel is a delightful place to get some rest, and Upper Blue Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Middle Creek Campground is a fine local

This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Emigrant Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and you should positively dedicate some time to Border Ruffian Flat while you're here at Upper Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Upper Blue Lake called the Burnside Lake Trail, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Bear Valley. return home again. If you came to camp Damsite Campground is a wonderful place to do that; there are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here at Upper Blue Lake.
Visit Middle Creek since you're here at Upper Blue Lake,
and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Kirkwood while you're here. If you need a spot to stay Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a great choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Mokelumne River -
North Fork offers some nice whitewater. At Upper Blue Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the wintertime
highs are generally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Upper Blue Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
Upper Blue Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; the month of January
is the wettest with most of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough there's a lot more amusing things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody
but if it's for you then we recommend Carson River - East Fork, and do explore Hellhole Lake, it's a scenic lake. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
The Charity Valley Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near Upper Blue Lake, and the top of The Nipple is easily seen from Upper Blue Lake.
