You'll meet a lot of folks from Yuba City-Marysville here; a pretty lake like Lake Wildwood is a wonderful site to have a look at. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Union Reservoir. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop at Harry L. Englebright Lake right next door to Union Reservoir, and you can see Allenwood Hill from Union Reservoir. All year is a splendid time in the Northern Sierra Nevada       if you love the outdoors. Pine Island Beach is a beach next to Union Reservoir that you can pop by, and Union Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Collins Lake Recreation Area is a great place to camp nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Visit Deer Creek if you're here at Union Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Stagecoach Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. This                  lake is so wonderful. If you yearn for a little side spree, try Riffle Box Ravine, and you can stay the night at Thousand Trails. Through the warmest time of the year at Union Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Union Reservoir. The yearly rainfall here at Union Reservoir is about average; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A wonderful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GOLD MINERS INN-GRASS VALLEY; paddling on Yuba River is so much fun.
