Union Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Near Union Reservoir you stumble on the Emigrant Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Union Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Alpine Campground is a magnificent place for that. This is a delightful region for folks who like lakes. Spicer Meadow Reservoir is a lake in close proximity, and you can run the rapids of Mokelumne River - North Fork. All through the warm days of

| | summer at Union Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Union Reservoir during the wintertime frequently dip into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail is always a fine adventure, and Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is a delightful whitewater spot close by. A good deal of rain falls at Union | |

Reservoir; all through January this area sees the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. So many fun things to do at Union Reservoir, so little time. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Utica Reservoir is one of those
nearby, and what would winter be without some skiing at Dodge Ridge.
You completely must like the Northern Sierra Nevada. Slick Rock is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Union Reservoir, and hey, Gotta ski right?
Bear Valley is a nice place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and a nice spot like Sapps Meadow here at Union Reservoir is too great to miss. This lake is one of the great
places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Union Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Valley Campground is a great local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like Duck Creek.
