There's nice hiking along the Yerba Buena Trail, and everyone close by loves skiing at Mt Waterman. At Una Lake through the summertime highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Una Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't       leave Una Lake without first going for a hike along the Condor Peak Riding and hiking Trail, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Palmdale is a great choice. Around Una Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly February, that's the one that rains the most while July is frequently the driest month. So many enjoyable things to do here at Una Lake, too nice to be true. There's so much to do here at Una Lake that                  you need to camp here for a while, Campground Number Two is a pleasant place for that. There are perfect spots to explore along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 8, and dry warm beds await you at Palmdale Days Inn.
