Sure, Independence Lake is close at hand, and Ukonom Lake is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Sulphur Springs Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby. During the warmest time of the year at Ukonom Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at       Ukonom Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. Ukonom Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a magnificent time. There's whitewater on Klamath River for all you thrill seekers, and do pay a visit to Oregon Caves National Monument since you're here at Ukonom Lake. Ukonom Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that                  rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Secret Meadow is a great location to check out, and you can run the rapids of Wooley Creek. There's fine hiking along the Boundary National Recreation Trail; you can stay the night at Pick-aw-Ish Campground. All the outdoors amusing things in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. There are other spots here than Ukonom Lake, for example Granite Lakes, and close by Independence Valley is a delightful spot to go. This lake is so wonderful. So many amusing things to do here at Ukonom Lake, too great to be true.
