Beautiful Ukonom Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back many times. You'll find a pretty lake called Monument Lake near Ukonom Lake, and Secret Meadow is a delightful site. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. While you're here at Ukonom Lake you can take a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail, and get your heart

| | pumping on the great whitewater of Klamath River.
This lake is so wonderful. Ukonom Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest of the months is July. Pick-aw-Ish Campground is a fine local campground, and Oregon Caves National Monument is a magnificent local destination.

paddling is Wooley Creek. Do pop by Pleasant Lake in close proximity to Ukonom Lake, it's a wonderful lake; Independence Valley is certainly a glorious spot to pop by. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Ukonom Lake
get into the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's while Ukonom Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
That right
there is plenty already, but it goes on; Ukonom Lake has it all. On a perfect day at Ukonom Lake you can take a hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail; Onemile Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting.
