If you are in Tulare county it's always a good idea to stop by Twin Lakes. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A great place to check out right next door to Twin Lakes is Cahoon Gap, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Kaweah River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Visalia-Porterville here, and camping is available at Log Bridge Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada.

| | Twin Lakes gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls through January, and the driest of the months is July. Going for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and one of the major marks of the surroundings of Twin Lakes is Ball Dome. parks are splendid places to have a look at and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is a magnificent
place to camp, and if you've had enough of Twin Lakes, Heather Lake is close by. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Sierra Nevada. You could also go to Silliman Lake if you're here at
Twin Lakes; it's close by, and hiking along the High Sierra Trail is magnificent fun. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Twin Lakes. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Twin Lakes.
