Twin Lakes is located in the Santa Rosa Mountains. So much fun stuff in the Santa Rosa Mountains, just tremendous. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Ramona Trail. If you need a place to stay Cedar Street Inn and Spa is a great choice, and camping at Cowboy Country Campground is always a great experience. At Twin Lakes during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler       of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 60's while Twin Lakes night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Santa Rosa Mountains. On a glorious day at Twin Lakes you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 3, and Twin Lakes is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Kamp-anza Kampground and RV Park is a delightful local                  campground. Twin Lakes gets very little rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. There are other places here than Twin Lakes, for example Twin Lakes, and dry warm beds await you at Idyllwild Inn. What a location this is for outdoors people. Swamps can be such interesting places, take a look at Cooper Cienega while you're here at Twin Lakes, and Chihuahua Valley is a good place to pop by. This lake is so wonderful.
