Twin Lakes is right by the Ramona Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lone Pine Reservoir is close by. At Twin Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; during the month of January you get the most rain around here while June is commonly the driest month. High temperatures at Twin Lakes during the summertime months are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The       cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and overnight lows at Twin Lakes all through the winter generally dip into the 30's. Hiking along the Aguanga Trail is wonderful fun, and after a long day outdoors Cedar Street Inn and Spa is a good spot to spend a night or two. A great close by hotel is Idyllwild Inn, and don't miss out on a pleasant swamp; Cooper Cienega is right here at Twin Lakes. So much fun stuff to do here in the Santa Rosa Mountains,                  too good to be true. Take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 3. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Cowboy Country Campground is a tremendous place for that. All year is a nice time in the Santa Rosa Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Twin Lakes. A fine location next to Twin Lakes is Iron Spring Canyon, and you can stay the night at Kamp-anza Kampground and RV Park.
