If you are traveling by, why not stop by Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Black Mountain is gorgeous and can be seen from Twin Lakes; camping at Thousand Trails is always a brilliant experience. Go for a hike on the Burnett Canyon Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Soda Springs; there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Mears Lake Valley Trail. This lake is so wonderful. | | Chubb Lake; Twin Lakes is in close proximity to Sixmile Valley which is undeniably worth a visit. For the period of the warm days of summer at Twin Lakes highs are typically in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Twin Lakes temperatures plunge to the 20's. it would be. The skiing at Royal Gorge is glorious, and after a long day outdoors Deer Creek Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Yuba River - South Fork is a perfect whitewater spot next to Twin Lakes, and going for a
hike on the Spaulding Lake Trail is always a splendid adventure. You completely should fancy the Northern Sierra Nevada. Twin Lakes is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Cisco Grove Campground & Recreational Vehicle is a fine
local campground, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Truckee-Grass Valley for sure. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Lake Valley Reservoir is a nearby
lake that you could pop by, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fordyce Creek. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. A good deal of rain falls at Twin Lakes; January is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July.
