There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Twin Lakes. Outlet Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Twin Lakes; some of the water nearby flows, like Baechtel Creek. Summer Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eel River. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to       Twin Lakes, and the night is a little colder of course, usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Twin Lakes descend into the 40's. Twin Lakes is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most while July is regularly the driest month. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. While you're here at Twin Lakes you will meet lots of folks from close by Ukiah. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. If you get bored of Twin Lakes, you could also stop at close by Lake Ada Rose, and if you came for an overnight stay Creekside Cabins and RV Resort is a great place to camp.
