Hiking along the Pat Keyes Trail is glorious fun, and Sawmill Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is typically a relatively dry site; January is the month that gets the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Twin Lakes is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Aberdeen Resort is a brilliant place to camp nearby; after       a long day outdoors Best Western Frontier Motel is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Twin Lakes generally tend to be in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
