Going for a hike on the Grouse Creek Tractor Way is always a delightful adventure; Lake Prairie is a nearby lake that you could stop by. | | Twin Lakes is simple. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Lakes is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Boise Creek Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and Twin Lakes is not far at all from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. Just can't get enough of Twin Lakes. Bug Creek Butte can be seen from Twin Lakes, and since you're here, you could also check out scenic Snow Camp Lake. the Grouse Creek Tractor Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Redwood Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. High temperatures at Twin Lakes during the summer months are in the 60's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's.
Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Twin Lakes plunge into the 40's. The high level of precipitation makes Twin Lakes a rather wet location; December
is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Twin Lakes is located in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Pilot Ridge Trail, and some out of the ordinary geology is available here, Rooster Rock is right here.
