If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Twin Lakes. Through the days of summer at Twin Lakes highs are commonly in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Grouse Creek Tractor Way. Camping is available at Boise Creek Campground, and Redwood Creek has a great whitewater

| | paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place to camp here at Twin Lakes is Lazy Double B Park, and a pleasant close by hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. The high level of precipitation makes Twin Lakes a reasonably wet site; throughout December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Twin Lakes has to offer. There's pleasant
hiking along the Pilot Ridge Trail, and some exciting geology is available here, Rooster Rock is right here. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna return home again. Smokehouse Creek is a stream that you
may come across while here, and at Twin Lakes you always meet someone from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. If you get bored of Twin Lakes, you could also stop by close by Lake Prairie; at Twin Lakes you can observe Bug Creek Butte.
