All through the long summer days at Twin Lakes temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Twin Lakes dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Boomerang Lake, and skiing at Sierra at Tahoe is one of those things you just should do. Twin       Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Highland Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork; from Twin Lakes you get a glorious panorama                  of Blue Mountain. Yeah, come here to Twin Lakes for a magnificent time. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Twin Lakes, too pleasant to be true. Silver Creek - South Fork has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby; Rockbound Pass is a fine location to check out. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Twin Lakes is right by the Windmiller Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Twin Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Thirty-nine Mile Campground. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Pyramid Campground is a tremendous site for that, and at Twin Lakes you always meet someone from Gardnerville Ranchos. Hiking along the Red Peak Trail is magnificent fun. Lakes? Sure, Hemlock Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Pine Cone Acre Motel is a good location to spend a night or two; magnificent skiing awaits you at Homewood.
