    Why not stop by Twin Lake if you're passing through these parts. Twin Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Burnside Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail next to Twin Lake; don't forget to take a great little journey to Middle Creek. Lakes? Sure, Evergreen Lake is in the vicinity, and nearby you locate the Emigrant Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Be careful coming to Twin Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again.
 
   Camping is available at Damsite Campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Charity Valley Trail. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is excellent! If you need a place to stay Mountain Adventure Seminars is a good choice, and there are some great whitewater spots on Mokelumne River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Kirkwood, and Bear  
               Valley Lodge is a good location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Carson River - East Fork; while you're here at Twin Lake it's a good idea to go to Clover Valley. Twin Lake is a relatively wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. A perfect place to camp here at Twin Lake is Middle Creek Campground, and you're sure to come across some fine people from Gardnerville Ranchos here.
Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Nipple is simple to spot from Twin Lake; why not head up to Bear Valley and strap some skis to your feet. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Twin Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Twin Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Twin Lake.
