Bens Creek is in the vicinity of Turtle Lake and is always a diversion to visit It's always fine to visit Cold Spring. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Klamath River, and you can stay the night at Aikens Creek       Campground. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a fine time. The vista of Burrill Peak from Turtle Lake is gorgeous, and Turtle Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Hupa Valley Mobile Home and RV is a great spot to camp nearby. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hiking along the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail is nice fun; lakes are such serene sites, why not pop by Youngs Lake.                  Turtle Lake regularly gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
