The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. Turtle Lake is right by the County Line Trail; unsurprisingly Baker Creek flows through this neighborhood. You're probably keen on lakes, Sweasey Lake is one of those close by, and if you need a place to stay Dean Creek Resort is a wonderful choice. | | and the night is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Turtle Lake. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Looking for something near Turtle Lake? everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mad River, and since you're here at Turtle Lake it's a pleasant idea to check out Alder Flat. This lake is so wonderful. One of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Turtle
Lake is McClellan Mountain, and there's whitewater on Van Duzen River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. All the water falling down from the sky makes Turtle Lake a wet place; through the month of December you get the most rain
around here, and the driest of the months is July. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Hiking along the Blake Trail is great fun, and Turtle Lake is a place with many visitors from
Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. This lake is so wonderful. The Pilot Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came to camp Blake Spring Campground is a wonderful site to do that.
