     Turtle Lake is a nice lake to visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Turtle Lake a wet site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Don’t forget to explore Alder Flat while you're here at Turtle Lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Pilot Ridge Trail. Summertime highs at Turtle  
   Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Turtle Lake are in the 30's.
That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. At Turtle Lake you can make out McClellan Mountain, and if you need a location to stay Dean Creek Resort is a wonderful choice. This lake is located
 
               in the wonderful Coast Ranges. There's some flowing water close by, Baker Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here; why not camp at Hidden Springs Campground if you're here at Turtle Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Van Duzen River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and close by you find the Blake Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. This place, Turtle Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Not far from Turtle Lake, you'll discover Dry Lake which is a picturesque lake, and the County Line Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby.
In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River, and a great place to camp here at Turtle Lake is Blake Spring Campground.
