Turtle Lake is a nice lake to visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Turtle Lake a wet site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Don’t forget to explore Alder Flat while you're here at Turtle Lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Pilot Ridge Trail. Summertime highs at Turtle

mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mad River, and a great place to camp here at Turtle Lake is Blake Spring Campground.
