Turner Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You clearly should love Turner Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Turner Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mill Creek Resort, and the Murphy Trail is a fine hiking trail close by.       Turner Lake is not the only site close by, Diamond Lake is a close by lake; one of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Turner Lake is Lyons Peak. There's so much to do here at Turner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Wallow Campground is a delightful spot for that; do pay a visit to Lassen Volcanic National Park while you're here at Turner Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Deer Creek offers some splendid whitewater; Bailey Creek Cottages is a nice place to get some rest. For the duration of the summertime months at Turner Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Turner Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
