There's so much to do here at Turner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ivy Del RV Park is a magnificent site for that, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Escondido is a good place to spend a night or two. You're sure to stumble upon some smiling folks from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos here, and Burnt Mountain is beautiful and

| | can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Escondido Creek is so much fun, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Mission Trail. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Santa Rosa Mountains is great! Drift down the rapids of Santa Margarita River in a kayak, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Gomez Trail. the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Turner Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the
Santa Rosa Mountains has to offer. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Meadow Lake Golf Club. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Turner Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lilac Oaks Camp Ground. This
lake is so wonderful. The region where Turner Lake is, is dominated by the Oat Hills, and lakes are such serene places, why not go to Hideaway Lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Best Western Escondido
is a wonderful location to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Magee Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. At Turner Lake you don’t see much rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is July.
