There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Arroyo Hondo River, and a glorious close by hotel is Oakwood at The Estates at Fremont. Lakes? Sure, Swimming Lagoon is close at hand, and if you're stopping by from San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, you won't be the only one. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Tule Pond. Tule Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Aloha Mobile Village       and Trailer is a pleasant local campground, and not far from Tule Pond you'll hit upon The Lagoon which is a gorgeous lake. An average amount of rain falls at Tule Pond; during the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Tule Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period                  of the winter highs are in the 50's while Tule Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Garden Court Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two; the Trappers Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Tule Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Fair Park RV is a great spot for that; nearby Morrison Canyon is a good spot to go. While you're here at Tule Pond you can play some golf at Sunol Valley Golf Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Alameda Creek.
