This place, Tule Lake, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Bear Creek in a kayak, and Baymont Inn & Suites Anderson is a splendid spot to get some rest. Tule Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bailey Cove - Shasta-Trinity National Forest is a great local campground; Tule Lake is not far at all from Redding.       A good deal of rainfall falls at Tule Lake; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month is July. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Tule Lake; Dry Creek Trail is a great local trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Battle Creek. During the warm days of summer here at Tule Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and overnight                  lows at Tule Lake through the winter commonly sink into the 30's.
