Trinity Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. What a place this is for outdoors people. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not explore Gibson Lake in the vicinity of Trinity Lake; if you came to camp Ackerman Campground is a great spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Redding Ca Travelodge is a tremendous choice. Lewiston Lake is a nice lake close to Trinity Lake,       and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clear Creek Sacramento Tributary. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. You might want to pay a visit to Bear Gulch while you're here at Trinity Lake, and camping at Tunnel Rock Campground is always a magnificent experience. This lake is so wonderful. A nice forest in the vicinity of Trinity Lake is Palace of the Oaks, and there's                  whitewater on Trinity River for all you adrenaline junkies. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. If you haven’t been to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it while you're here; a spree to Papoose Arm is always a good idea. Little Papoose Creek is in the neighborhood of Trinity Lake and is always a joy to pop by; an interesting thing to take a look at in the vicinity of Trinity Lake is Trinity Dam. High temperatures at Trinity Lake through the summer months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Trinity Lake.
