The annual precipitation here at Triangle Lake is about average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is usually the driest month. This is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes. Lost Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and Triangle Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Fortyfive Mile Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby.       You just should adore Triangle Lake. If you're looking for a beach near Triangle Lake, we recommend Kiva Beach, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Kirkwood. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A short journey to Glen Alpine Spring is always worthwhile, and everybody loves Haypress Meadows. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Triangle Lake called the General Creek Trail, and you can stay the                  night at Sayles Flat Campground. Summertime highs at Triangle Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Triangle Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Angora Peak is clearly visible from Triangle Lake; Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a perfect location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. On a tremendous day at Triangle Lake you can take a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and a golf course nearby is Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Silver Creek - South Fork offers some great whitewater, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Baldwin Beach. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. So much fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Going for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14 is always a pleasant adventure, and there are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sierra at Tahoe since you're here. Lakes are brilliant; Tamarack Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Triangle Lake. This spot, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A great nearby hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel, and Cathedral Peak is an out of the ordinary place to take a look at while at Triangle Lake. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
