Float down the rapids of Silver Creek - South Fork in a kayak, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Tamarack Lake is just a very short distance away. Triangle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The amount of rain that falls at Triangle Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most       snow, and the driest month is July. You could also visit Lost Lake if you're here at Triangle Lake; it's close by; you can spend the day on the beach at Kiva Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Cone Acre Motel, and Glen Alpine Spring is an inspiring place to have a look at during your stay. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do close to Triangle Lake. Triangle Lake is a place with many visitors from Gardnerville Ranchos; if                  you need a place to stay Pistantes Coyote Den is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Triangle Lake you can play some golf at Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Triangle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fortyfive Mile Campground. For the period of the summer months at Triangle Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, usually in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's, and night lows at Triangle Lake through the winter frequently dip into the 10's. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. There's so much to do here at Triangle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sayles Flat Campground is a delightful location for that; you need to go to Cathedral Peak if you're here. Paddling on American River - South Fork is so much fun; Kirkwood has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If the weather is nice here at Triangle Lake, you can go for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail, and if the weather is wonderful, you get a good sight of Angora Peak from Triangle Lake. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Sierra at Tahoe, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Haypress Meadows while you're here at Triangle Lake, and the General Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close by. One of the best things about Triangle Lake is its proximity to Baldwin Beach, and why not stop at nearby Glen Alpine Creek while you're here at Triangle Lake.   Pine Cone Acre Motel, South Lake Tahoe 4 miles away This 22 unit family resort located just off Highway 89 is nestled among tall pine trees in a quiet, park-like setting, with onsite heated pool, picnic area and playground....
