So much cool stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. For the period of the warm months highs here at Trail Lake reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Trail Lake dipping down into       the 20's all through winter nights. This place, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Looking for a wonderful spree? Lassen Volcanic National Park is relatively near Trail Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Trail Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely into lakes, Shotoverin Lake is one of those                  nearby, and Rocky Knoll Campground is a glorious campground nearby. Trail Lake gets very little rain; all through January this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Trail Lake. Stay the night at Silver Bowl Campground; swamps don’t sound that brilliant but Cooper Swamp in the neighborhood of Trail Lake is rather brilliant. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes.
