Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. Near Trail Gulch Lake you stumble on the Tanners Peak Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and of course, this is a nice region for people who like lakes, Long Gulch Lake is a lake nearby. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody       but if it's for you then we recommend Coffee Creek, and Steveale Meadow is a great place to check out. If you came for an overnight stay Big Flat Campground is a wonderful spot to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Fish Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Trail Gulch Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Near                  Trail Gulch Lake you locate Deadman Gulch which is a delightful place to stop at, and camping is available at Trail Creek Campground.
