     A typical amount of rain falls here at Townsley Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. You'll locate a beautiful lake called Upper Fletcher Lake near Townsley Lake, and going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 1 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Be careful  
   coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return home again. Do take a look at Hanging Basket Lake close to Townsley Lake, it's a beautiful lake; hiking along the Gaylor Lakes Trail is splendid fun.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Townsley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tenaya Lake Campground is a splendid place for that, and if you need a location to stay The Ahwahnee is a tremendous choice. So many
 
               exciting things to do at Townsley Lake, so little time. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Tenaya Creek, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at June Mountain while you're here. While you're here at Townsley Lake you can take a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2, and you obtain a splendid view of Fletcher Peak from here.
Through the months of summer at Townsley Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Townsley Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Tuolumne Pass is near Townsley Lake and is without doubt a good place to pop by; get dripping wet paddling on Yosemite Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Heidelberg Inn is a great place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Townsley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tioga Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
