What a nice lake El Toro Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Bernardus Lodge is a nice choice, and why not camp at Saddle Mountain Recreation Park if you're here at El Toro Lake. Harper Creek is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and a good spot to camp here at El Toro Lake is Laguna Seca Recreation. That right there is a lot of fun things already but it goes on, the Santa Lucia Range has it all. Near El Toro Lake you

| | find the San Clemente Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and there are plenty of folks from Salinas here at El Toro Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Sur River. A wonderful close by hotel is Country Garden Inns, and golf can be played at Laguna Seca Golf Club. This lake is one of the great places here in the Santa Lucia Range. that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carmel River, and a glorious location to take a look at nearby is Calera Canyon. Be careful coming to the Santa Lucia Range, you might not ever
want to go home again. Go for a hike on the Carmel River Trail, and go to nearby Laguna Seca. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Rattlesnake Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure; lakes are such serene places,
why not explore Mudhen Lake. At El Toro Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; nighttime lows through the winter
for El Toro Lake tend to be in the 40's. At El Toro Lake you don’t see much precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is commonly the driest month.
