Toole Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through January this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Russian River, and while you're here, you could also visit beautiful Dugans Pond. So many exciting things in the Coast Ranges, just inspiring. Camping is available at Thousand Trails, and nothing beats kicking back at Jenner Beach. You just can't envision the

out Two Rock is a must. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Toole Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Toole Pond
are in the 40's. The Tomales Point Trail offers hiking at its best; at Toole Pond you can observe Little Black Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Toole Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Moonshine Pond near
Toole Pond, it's a delightful lake; there's great hiking along the Monte Rio Fire Trail. Getting to Big Oat Creek from Toole Pond is trouble-free, and camping at Rivers End is always a splendid experience. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful.
