This lake is so wonderful. Hit the beach if you want, Sandy Beach is practically right here, and Hotel Mt. Lassen is a tremendous place to get some rest. For the period of the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Tom Spring Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter       are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Tom Spring Reservoir drop into the 10's. Cleghorn Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at; camping is available at Mariners Resort. At Tom Spring Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; January is the wettest month with most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Nearby lakes?
