A lovely lake like Upper Franklin Canyon Reservoir in close proximity to Toluca Lake is a tremendous spot to take a look at, and why not camp at Plasse's Resort at Silver Lake since you're here at Toluca Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here, and lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Hollywood Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gold Canyon Trail, and everybody close

| | by loves skiing at Mt Waterman. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Toluca Lake; Oak Spring Trail is a great local trail, and if you wish for a little side visit, try Cahuenga Pass. Vicabob Trailer Village is a fine local campground. So much amusing stuff near Toluca Lake, clearly impressive. Lake generally tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Toluca Lake temperatures fall
to the 30's. Around Toluca Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is February, and July is when it's the driest.

 | 36 miles away 1 PHOTO Hi, please take a look at the attached photo. I took it today in La Jolla Canyon, at the water fall (dry now). Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
